Leonardo joined Turim in 2001 and is Turim’s Co-CEO. He was the first hire by Turim’s founder, Gustavo Marini, and started out as an intern. He was later promoted to investment analyst and in 2007 was made Partner, and became responsible for asset allocation in Brazil. In 2008, he was promoted to lead the Brazil investment team, responding directly to the CEO. In August 2022, he left his role as Turim's CIO to become Co-CEO. Leonardo has the General Management Program (GMP) certificate from Harvard Business School. He holds an Economics Degree from IBMEC-RJ.
